After reading some of the reviews about the Prudential Hotel here, I decided to book it. I was not disappointed. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in a deluxe room. The room was very spacious and had a very comfortable king sized bed, an electric kettle, safe, flat screen tv and free internet. The bathroom was well sized and had a decent hairdryer. The hotel also has a roof top swimming pool and a small gym.
The hotel receptionists were very courteous as were the concierge. Concierge recommended dim sum at the Shamrock Hotel which was just opposite of Prudential and it turned out to be the best dim sum I had in Hong Kong.
The hotel has a very good location. It is just above the Jordan MTR station. However, instead of taking the Prudential exit where you had to go up 5 flights of escalators, take the Four Seasons exit. It's much faster. The hotel is located between Tsim Sha Tsui on one side and Yau Ma Tei, Mong Kok and Sham Sui Po on the other. From the hotel, you can actually walk down Nathan Road for 20 minutes all the way to Tsim Sha Tsui or to the Night Market at Yau Ma Tei in 5 minutes.
Overall, i was very pleased with my stay at the Prudential Hotel. I would definitely come back and I recommend it to anyone who's planning to do lots of shopping and sight seeing in Hong Kong.

we stayed here in nov 07 in a group
The service was great, but there is no 24 hour room service and you are unable to get anything to eat after 11pm.
The restaurant and bar were good, but very overpriced.
We found a local bar to drink in just down the road instead of paying the high prices in the hotel and we met some very friendly locals who insisted we sing Karaoke songs songs with them (sorry Ronan Keating)
The location is great with a metro station downstairs in the mall you are able to travel very quickly and easily anywhere in Hong Kong. Get an Octopus card from the metro station and top it up at the ticket machines. We were able to travel all over Hong Kong for a week for £10 on buses and trains and that includes the train to Disneyland.
We ate at roadside cafes most of the time and a meal and drinks rarely came to £10 for two people.
grab a business card from the front desk as it has the hotel address in Cantonese and english, it will help you if you ever need to get a taxi back to the hotel.
The harbour light show is a must i think it was every night at 8pm
The ferry to hong kong island was very easy to use and very cheap
we thouroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel and i would definately recommend it to anyone

The Pruton Prudential Hotel in Hong Kong offers excellent accommodation right in the middle of Nathan Road.
We stayed in a deluxe room which was roomy, comfortable and very clean. Facilities included a good rooftop pool - but we didn't have time to use it! There is so much shopping and sight seeing to do.
The buffet breakfast was tasty and offered a variety of dishes both western and asian, and good hot coffee.
Staff were helpful and spoke passable english. I did a lot of research on hotels before we travelled to Hong Kong, I am extremely fussy in regard to cleanliness and ambience but the Prudential passed my standards with flying colours.
The tour office girls arranged a great day tour for us at the last minute and were a good source of information.
Make sure you sleep in though, as the shops do not open until after 10.00 am and some not until after 11.00 am, however you can shop into the night until 11.00pm.
