We stayed here for the Canton Fair for which it was very convenient and offered a free mini bus to the new complex. It was also next to the metro. We are not lovers of chinese food over there so it was nice to have a Macdonalds and KFC next door. I am aware that prices at the local hotels are particularly expensive during the Canton Fair and value for money it certainly was not. We paid approx. £120.00 per night without breakfast for what was supposed to be 4 stars. We did actually upgrade to a business room with free internet access. However the room was certainly not up to standard. The carpet was dirty, the shower was very weak and the bath having taken forever to fill up, soon emptied whilst still in it. The bed however was a supersize, I think about 7' square. We even ran out of toilet paper one day.
All this said, the staff were lovely and extremely helpful.
